Travel and hospitality companies prepare for consumers with enhanced cleaning…
Linchi Kwok Travel, Hospitality & Event ManagementAre you ready to travel once stay-at-home orders are lifted in your region? A recent survey of over 30,000 Americans suggests that 46% of Americans will travel immediately after orders are lifted; 19% will wait two to six months; 18% have no plans to travel; 52% of those planning to travel prefer domestic trips (possibly road trips); and 53% trust the travel and hospitality industry will follow safety protocols. Even though it is still far too early to claim that the coronavirus pandemic is over, a number of states have already loosened lockdown rules, allowing certain businesses to reopen. Travel and hospitality companies are getting ready to welcome guests.

Preventing back injuries in children who participate in flexibility-related…
Sheilamary Koch Sports & FitnessInstagram is full of kids and teens showing off their super flexibility — and my daughters seem to follow them all. One thing I’ve pointed out to them is we don’t see posts when they’re injured nor are we privy to how they’re faring 15 or 20 years from now. Fortunately, by taking the precautions that follow, conscientious parents and coaches can help reduce needless injury for young athletes and performers who strive to accomplish phenomenal feats of flexibility.

A brief history of modern .30 caliber rifle cartridges
John McAdams Recreation & LeisureAt least among American hunters, .30 caliber reigns supreme for all-around big game hunting in terms of raw popularity. This is not meant as a slight to fans of the other popular rifle calibers out there. Indeed, there are a bunch of outstanding rifle cartridges for hunters, including 6mm, 6.5mm, .270 caliber, 7mm, and .338 caliber (among others). However, .30 caliber cartridges are still far and away the most commonly used for hunting virtually all species of big game around the world short of cape buffalo.

Being a performing artist after the coronavirus pandemic
Patrick Gleeson Recreation & LeisureA few years ago, I retired from writing music for film and television. I'm aware how incredibly lucky I've been to have had the job, but after doing it for years I wanted to see if I could get anywhere attracting an audience with music I'd written for myself, not for a director or producer. So, I quit Hollywood and began again. This year, I was looking forward to my next gig at an electronic music festival, Synthplex, where I was scheduled to headline on March 27. Now, like millions of Americans, I'm sheltering in place, giving me plenty time to wonder — no, worry — about what it will be like pursuing a career in the arts, and especially the performing arts, when this plague has passed.

What happens when the hospitality sector reopens?
Michael J. Berens Construction & Building MaterialsJust before the COVID-19 pandemic brought the industry nearly to a halt, U.S. hotel construction hit an all-time high in March. Other projects were queueing up in the pipeline. Now, as with so many industries at present, the future of those projects as well as of hospitality in general remains in doubt. Once travel restrictions begin to loosen up, will guests come back, which ones, and how soon are questions both travel and hospitality analysts are trying to answer.

When can we start traveling again?
Linchi Kwok Travel, Hospitality & Event ManagementWhen will the COVID-19 pandemic end? When will we be able to travel again? Since California issued its stay-at-home order in mid-March, over 316 million people in the U.S. and Puerto Rico have been urged to stay at home. The U.S. State Department also issued a "Level 4: Do Not Travel" advisory for all international travel. Today, many people are getting tired of staying at home. So, when can we go out and begin traveling again?

Practicing social distancing in my car
David Newton Recreation & LeisureLike many of you, I'm in my fifth week of working from home, and the fourth week into the stay-at-home order directive in my state. As the coronavirus evolves, we can expect more restrictions on our movements and social behavior to protect humanity from the insidious spread of the virus throughout the country. For the very lucky ones like me who have so far been only mildly inconvenienced by the stay-at-home order, keeping busy has been challenging. I have consequently spent my discretionary hours in the garage.

The first and possibly last major match of the year: 2020 Superstition…
Joshua Fry Recreation & LeisureI've been a competitive shooter for almost eight years now and have participated in a wide variety of major and minor matches around the country across multiple shooting disciplines and organizations. I have shot through rain, snow, mud, blistering heat, and gale-force winds that batted long-range shots around like BBs. None of those compared to the unseen threat the coronavirus had on one of the largest and longest-running major matches in the country: the Superstition Mountain Mystery Match (SMM3G) in Phoenix, Arizona.
