Michael Lipkan
Since visiting Arcosanti in Arizona in 1980, Michael Lipkan became profoundly aware of the dysfunctional nature of our cities. Over the last 33 years, he has been thinking, writing, creating images and finding answers he hopes will help correct our city problems. Michael and his wife Barbara "Ivory" have attended Earth Day events, schools, museums and national conferences with their handmade model of a Linear City. This is the city form they believe will solve many urban problems and help in the fight against global warming. Michael's next big project was to create the website Imagine City.
