There is no mention of the trucking company I was working for at the time, and I changed the name of the person in the story. All other information is as accurate as I could be, both in the narrative as well as the news stories or clippings. I have kept this story buried in my mind for years, with several attempts to write it down, only to scrap it later. It has almost been 20 years since the sad event, and here it is for the first time.
