Coming from a family of dairy and poultry farmers, Julia has a strong appreciation for her local growers and producers and is fortunate to help increase on-farm revenues through agritourism development.

Johnston’s Cranberry Marsh has been in the family since the 1950s. The Johnstons are some of the province's agritourism pioneers, having made their first foray into the market with wagon rides around the farm in the 1980s.
