Eric Mold joined the Royal Air Force as a boy entrant exactly one week after World War II ended. “They forgot to tell the recruiters it was over,” Eric says. He transferred to the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1955, and most of his 30-year career was spent flying jet fighters, starting with Vampires and culminating with Starfighters, the jewel in his his career crown.
