Charles Noble

Charles Noble spent 40 years as an aerospace photographer with three major companies. Charles is a graphic artist as well as photographer and has many photos and graphics published in magazines and large graphics in trade shows. He also restores photographs and has restored several for museums. Since retirement, Charles spends his time photographing landscapes and wildlife images.

  ​It has been several years since my wife and I have traveled up the coast on Highway 1 to the Oregon border. In June, we decided to make the trip again. Not having a schedule planned, we decided to just take the four-wheel pop-up truck camper and leave the trailer at home.

  I had already winterized our trailer and our pop-up four-wheel camper, and we only had a few spare days between commitments. The wife was eager to put away the Christmas decorations and was feeling a little stressed, so I decided it was time for a break.

  ​The wife and I had wanted to take an extended trip to the Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks for the past couple of years, but something always comes up to prevent us from taking the trip. This fall we decided nothing was going to prevent us from going.
