Bill Hindle
Bill Hindle is currently the director for language assessment solutions for Language Testing International, the ACTFL Testing Office. He has been involved in the language business for more than 25 years, managing the delivery of instruction, assessment, translation and interpretation services to clients in the government, academia and commercial sectors. He has overseen contracts awarded by the Defense Language Institute, Defense Intelligence Agency, National Geo-Spatial Intelligence Agency, Foreign Service Institute, Department of State and the Department of Homeland Security, among many others. Bill has been an oral proficiency examiner for the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate (UCLES), and for the International English Language Testing System (IELTS). He is an active member of the Inter-Agency Language Round Table (ILR) and is part of the American Society for Testing & Materials' committee developing nationwide standards in proficiency assessment (F15.64).
