Betsy Harper is the recruiter/owner of Sales and Marketing Search. She has been in sales and marketing management for the past 25 years. In 1993, Betsy joined Sales and Marketing Search as a recruiter and focused her business on emerging technology companies. Since that time, she has recruited sales and marketing candidates, at all levels, for companies ranging in size from startup ventures to a $6 billion international hardware and software systems integrator. In January 2000, she became the owner of Sales and Marketing Search.

  My next door neighbor, Jack, is putting a new, fancy deck on his house — again. The first try didn’t quite work out the way he wanted for two reasons.   The day after Thanksgiving, my whole family convened at my mother's house to get a first glimpse of the newest member of the clan — 7-week-old Grace. It was a fun afternoon, not only because little Grace was amenable to being passed around like a weighted ball during PE class, but also because everyone showed up. That meant I had the opportunity to catch up with some nieces and nephews I don't get to see often.
