Andy Weidenbach just completed his 37th year as a head coach and his 23rd season as head coach at Cranbrook-Kingswood High School in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. He has been active in the Michigan High School Hockey Coaches Association, the Michigan Interscholastic Hockey League, and the Michigan High School Athletic Association, doing his best to promote high school hockey in Michigan. Andy's overall high school hockey record thru the 2015-2016 season is 459 wins, 159 losses, 38 ties. His teams won the MHSAA Division III State Championship in 1997, 2000, 2001, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010, 2013 and 2015.
In addition to his coaching duties at Cranbrook, Andy was the skating coach for the Detroit Red Wings and worked the Detroit Red Wings Player Development Rookie Camp from 2008-2012. A 2009 inductee into the Michigan High School Hockey Coaches Association Hall of Fame, Andy has also coached for the Detroit Junior Red Wings/Plymouth Whalers in the Ontario Hockey League and the Detroit Compuware in the North American Junior Hockey League.
