Yellow dreams of Porsche paradise
Friday, May 22, 2015Yellow is the color — wide, low-slung and prescient its shape. My approach is cautious and reverent. His Porsche is in the left lane as I make my approach from behind. We are both driving on the Dulles toll road that connects Washington, D.C., to Dulles Airport. The stretch is also a high-tech corridor for many companies, including North America's headquarters for Audi and Volkswagen. This begs the question: Will Porsche's North America headquarters make the move to the D.C. area someday?

Of cars and attitudes: No replacement for a Porsche

The car belonged to my niece, who was living with us and starting her career in the hotel industry. The reason for this circumstance was due to my '88 Carrera being in the shop.
